====== Change numbering ======

In addition to overwriting the stamp label in the characteristic properties window (see User Interface> Function Windows > [[en:infra-convert:user:interface:feature|Characteristic properties]]), there are three functions available to change the characteristic numbers:

  * Manually number

  * Number clockwise

  * Number in reading direction

  * Renumber by list position

These are described as alternative steps (2a to 2c) in the workflow of this chapter.

**Note** Prefix and suffix are not overwritten when numbering.
