Why are drawing entries not stamped correctly?
Why are the properties of the created feature not correct?

1)

Use the Stamp tool to check whether all text elements belonging to a drawing entry have been combined into a block or group. All elements should be highlighted at once when you move the mouse pointer over them. If this is not the case, try to stamp the separated elements of an entry as a group.

See Funktion > Characteristics > Automatic stamping > Workflow > 4c Stamp group

2)

Use the Stamp tool to check whether individual characters of a drawing entry are not encoded, usually these are the graphic symbols. All lines of a character should be highlighted at once when you move the mouse pointer over them. If this is not the case, the character is uncoded and cannot be read.

See More > Terms > Drawing data format

3)

Check the export settings in the CAD system or use a different drawing file format. The best automatic stampability is achieved with DXF and DWG formats.

4)

If you have no possibility to influence the export settings in CAD or use another file format, we recommend the following procedure:

Stamp the coded part of an entry automatically and change the properties of the created feature afterwards, if the change effort is low.

See Functions > Characteristics > Automatic stamping

If several properties have to be changed after a feature has been created, stamp the entry directly manually. Shape and position tolerance specifications should always be stamped manually.

See Functions > Characteristics > Manuelly stamp
