Duplicate and re-stamp
The →Duplicate and →Re-stamp functions allows you to create copies of a characteristic with its own stamp.
Note Please note that there are different ways to create several characteristics from one characteristic or drawing entry. The possibilities are explained here: “More > Terms > Single/multiple characteristic”.
Workflow

| 1 | Select characteristic | Right-click either the stamp in the drawing window or the list entry in the characteristic list. | The context menu for editing a characteristic opens. |
| 2 | Execute function | 2a) Click the Duplicate entry. | 2a) A characteristic with the same properties is created. The stamp number is incremented by index “.1”, “.2” and so on. The “Duplicated” label is added to the duplicated characteristic, displayed in the “Characteristic properties” window. |
| 2b) Click on the Re-stamp entry. | 2b) A characteristic with the same properties is created. It does not contain a reference to the original characteristic. | ||
