Export


Available in
program version 1.1.5 and onwards

In the “Stamp” tab in the “Export” menu, you can alter the default stamp settings. Applied settings can be confirmed with OK or Apply, or discarded with Cancel.


Access function

The menu can be accessed as followed:

Click on Edit and Settings in the drop-down menu that opens. This will open the “Settings” menu window. Select the Export tab in the list on the left-hand side of the window.


“Excel test plan” group

Option Function Default setting
Folder for Excel test plan templates Set the directory path to load the templates from for the test plan export to Excel. %ProgramData%\ELIAS GmbH\infra-convert\ExcelReports
Decimal separator for nominal values and tolerances Note The settings for decimal separators are no longer required from programme version 2.5.3. Nominal value and tolerance values are exported as numbers in a data format that is interpreted correctly in Excel regardless of the decimal separator setting.
Always use a dot. Nominal sizes and tolerance values are always output with a dot as the decimal separator.
Always use a comma. Nominal sizes and tolerance values are always output with a comma as the decimal separator.
Depends on thge current systems' culture. Nominal sizes and tolerance values are output with the decimal separator, which is stored in the settings of the operatin system.
Use Microsoft Excel for the export process. Specifies that an installed Microsoft Excel should be used to write the Excel file.

Note Available from programme version 2.4.6.
Transfer to Microsoft Excel without saving Specifies that no Excel file is created during export. Instead, Microsoft Excel is opened to display the export result.

Note Available from program version 3.1.0.
Open Microsoft Excel after the export process Specifies that the exported Excel file is opened after export. This setting is also available in the export dialogue window.

Note Available from programme version 2.4.6.


“CSV export” group

Option Function Default setting
Export an additional title line when performing a CSV export. Determines that a title line will be exported when performing a CSV export. You will have the option to enter values for the title line during the export process.


“Export in ASCII transfer format” group

Note Available from program version 4.1.0.

Option Function Preset
Use UTF-8 character set Use the UTF-8 character set instead of the ANSI character set. The UTF-8 character set is provided in the AQDEF standard.


“Drawing graphic format” group

Option Function Default setting
Format Determines the file format in which the stamped drawing is to be exported.

Note We recommend the PNG and TIF formats, especially the JPG format is not suitable for technical drawings.
PNG
Colour depth Determines the pixel colour depth. A larger value will increase the size of the file.

Note You can set 24 bit and 8 bit, for GIF only 8 bit. Antialiasing is only possible with a color depth of 24 bits, so it cannot be used for GIF. If antialiasing is used, a lower resolution (width × height) is required. (Antialiasing is available from program version 1.5.2.0.)

Width Determines the width of the image in pixels. 4096
Height Determines the height of the image in pixels. 3072
Antialiasing Specifies the →antialiasing method to be used.

Note Recommendations can be found under “More > Terms > Antialiasing”. Antialiasing can only be applied at a colour depth of 24 bit and not for GIF.

Linear
Quality level Specifies the quality factor for →antialiasing.

Method Specifies whether the software-based or hardware-accelerated renderer should be used, or whether the most appropriate renderer should be selected automatically.

Note With hardware acceleration, only quality levels 2 and 3 are available for antialiasing; set levels 4 and 5 are interpreted as 3. The set method is also irrelevant.

Automatic
Export drawing graphic when saving Determines that the drawing sheets are to be exported when a project is saved.

“Stamp graphic format” group

Export stamp graphics when saving. Determines that the stamp graphics are to be exported when a project is saved.
Naming of stamp graphics
With the GUID of the stamp. Sets the stamp graphics to be named with the GUID of the stamp.

Note Available from program version 2.5.0
Composed of inspection plan title, version and stamp text Specifies that the name of the stamp graphics is built up from the test plan title, version and stamp text.
